Healthcare Facilities

Mader Design has extensive experience with healthcare clients in providing a broad range of site design services from analysis and assessments of existing facilities to master planning and detailed site design for new or redeveloped facilities.  The aesthetics and feeling of a space are especially important in a healthcare environment.  Our design work considers the unique spaces and requirements of a healthcare facility from emergency departments, wayfinding, helipads, public entry points, and delivery and service access.  Projects always need to be sensitive to the wide variety of users, from physicians and staff to patients and visitors. Their experience is crucial to the success of the facility, with special considerations the patients’ needs for healing space, along with the respite needed for their families and caregivers.  We consider therapeutic and sensory design practices as part of our healthcare design thinking, as well as our signature sustainable design practices.
